Job summary

National Vision Distribution Center is seeking a Forklift Operator to receive, unload, store merchandise and fulfill requisitions using a forklift and RF scanner. You will pull orders, pack, and ship to stores, while maintaining accurate inventory and safe, organized operations.

The role requires a high school diploma, forklift certification, and experience in warehouse/inventory control. Basic Excel skills are preferred alongside physical stamina for long shifts and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift certification is required.
• Warehouse and inventory control experience is required.
• Strong math abilities are required.
• Experience with handtrucks and pallet jacks is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and store merchandise using forklift resources.
• Process daily replenishments and customer orders with RF scanner or manually.
• Pick, pack, and ship orders to stores, including boxing and labeling.
• Unpack received boxes, verify counts against PO and packing slip, and move items to primary or overstock locations.
• Organize cross-docking and inventory movements within the system.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
• Assist with returns by presorting, restocking, and relabeling items.
