Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a warehouse associate to move products using a forklift or pallet jack from trailers to dock areas, while adhering to safety rules and quality standards. You will work as part of a team to maintain an efficient flow in receiving and warehousing processes.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 6 months to 1 year of warehouse experience, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and willingness to work in multi-temperature environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 6 months to 1 year warehouse or production experience.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift 10–35 pounds and up to 60–100 pounds depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Move product from trailer to appropriate dock staging area safely and efficiently.
• Sort and segregate pallets/product as necessary.
• Check product for damages and alert receivers when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with policies.
