HRforGrowth is assisting a client organization in expanding their warehouse team by recruiting a Forklift Driver. The role focuses on safe operation of forklift equipment, accurate picking/packing, and efficient shipment preparation. Certifications must be current or obtainable within 30 days. The position emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to safety procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or three years of relevant warehouse experience required.
• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience required.
• Current forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient operation of power-operated equipment requiring certification.
• Accurately pick and pack items for shipment, potentially with a forklift.
• Complete required paperwork and time-tracking documentation.
• Restock items not needed short term according to procedures.
• Assist with contacting freight couriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
• Label and prepare items for shipment and load/unload trucks as needed.
• Update the Warehouse Management System with transactions.
• Perform daily safety checklist and battery charging procedures.
• Assist team members in meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
