Job summary

Sudden Service, INC in Odessa, TX seeks a Service Coordinator to work with customers and field technicians, inspecting maintenance needs and advising on required services. You’ll compute part/labor costs and enter estimates into service orders for invoicing.

Responsibilities include processing warranty claims, maintaining service center records, and generating cost reports. Strong customer service, multi-tasking, and organized administration are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in Parts/Service industry with coordinating service.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload and stay organized.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Works with customers and Field Service Mechanics to identify required maintenance.
• Advises customers on necessary/suggested services.
• Computes cost of replacement parts and labor to restore lift truck.
• Estimates cost of mechanical, electrical, or other repairs.
• Enters itemized estimate on service order and explains estimate to customer.
• Processes parts and/or service sales orders in computer for invoicing.
• Maintains files for Service Center and assists in recordkeeping.
• Audits expenses and creates reports on service sales and expenses.
