Performance Food Group's Distribution Center is seeking a Forklift Operator to efficiently move goods, stock inventory, and support safe, compliant warehouse operations. Duties include operating forklifts and pallet jacks, loading/unloading, and maintaining GMP standards across cooler, freezer, and dry areas.

The role requires safety focus, the ability to lift 60–90 lbs, and flexibility for overtime. Prior warehouse experience and forklift certification are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Able to lift 10-35 pounds and up to 60-90 pounds depending on location.
• Able to work scheduled times and overtime.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments: cooler, freezer and dry.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Preferred: 1+ years with motorized pallet jack or forklift.
• Foodservice distribution experience.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Aufgaben

• Locates proper storage slots and sets pallets with forklift or hand stack items.
• Transport to freezer with forklift/pallet jack; replenish pick slots.
• Rotate stock to front of rack and remove outdated inventory per policy.
• Disperse over-stocked items to available slots.
• Inspect items for damage and maintain safety and GMP standards.
• Complete paperwork and perform routine equipment checks at shift end.
• Perform general housekeeping and report unsafe conditions.
