Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Forklift Operator to support our warehouse operations. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move and store products, ensuring accuracy and timely replenishment throughout the shift.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 90 pounds, and working in multiple temperature zones. A post-offer background check and drug test are required, with opportunity for growth and benefits starting Day 1.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Must be able to work scheduled/overtime as needed.
• Able to lift 10–35 lbs and up to 60–90 lbs in various locations.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, reach truck.
• Move items to storage racks and replenish pick slots as needed.
• Inspect items for damage and perform temperature/quality checks.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and follow GMP guidelines.
• Complete paperwork and ensure secure end-of-shift handoff.
