Job summary

Performance Food Group seeks a warehouse associate to move product from trailers to dock staging, using forklift or pallet jack, ensuring safety and quality. You will work as part of a team to maintain efficient product flow in receiving and staging areas.

Responsibilities include inspecting for damages, sorting pallets, and adhering to all policies while standing, walking, and lifting up to 60–100 pounds. OT may be required; background check and drug screen may be required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
  • 6 Months - 1 Year Warehouse and / or production work experience.
  • Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
  • Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
  • Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 100 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift.
  • Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e. cooler, freezer and dry.
  • Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

  • Move product from trailer to appropriate dock staging area in a safe, efficient manner.
  • Sort and segregate pallets / product, as necessary.
  • Check product for damages and alert receivers, if necessary.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards
