Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Forklift Operator, Non Formula, to move goods through our distribution process while maintaining safety and quality standards. You will operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment in a multi-temperature warehouse environment.

The role requires at least 6 months of warehouse experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and ability to work overtime. Training and safety protocols are essential to daily tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift; can lift 10–35 pounds and up to 60–90 pounds depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Locates proper slot on storage racks and sets pallets in place with forklift or hand stacks items.
• Transports incoming freight to inventory from staging areas for storage and replenishes pick slots.
• Rotates stock to front and removes outdated inventory according to policy.
• Disperses over-stocked items to available slots for temporary storage.
• Removes empty pallets and packing materials to designated areas.
• Inspects pallets and moves items with pallet jack or forklift.
• Follows safety policies and reports unsafe conditions.
• Performs safety checks on equipment and prepares supplies for operations.
• Wears all required PPE and meets productivity and accuracy standards.
• Performs general housekeeping and completes paperwork at end of shift.
