Job summary

Sarnova is seeking an Equipment Operator to accurately pick/pack merchandise and use a forklift as needed. You will read orders, perform receiving, and place items for shipment while maintaining safety. The role emphasizes customer-focused warehouse support and accurate processing.

The position requires 2–4 years in warehousing with forklift experience, High School Diploma, and forklift certification. A comprehensive benefits package including a 401(k) plan is offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Sarnova forklift certification or provided prior to operating equipment.
• 2–4 years warehousing experience with 1–2 years forklift preferred.
• Experience with PC equipment and shipping systems helpful.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, move, and stack products.
• Perform receiving functions for new, used, service, and returned goods.
• Read orders to determine items to pick and ship.
• Move materials from receiving to shipping or storage areas.
• Assemble and pack orders, place on pallets or bins.
• Process orders using carrier’s online service.
• Pack items with proper procedures and include packing slips.
• Attach labels compliant with HAZMAT shipping requirements.
• Verify items on order for accuracy.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and assist in other warehouse areas as needed.
