Job summary

Sarnova seeks a Warehouse Associate to receive, store and ship product and to create, fulfill and process customer orders. You will maintain safety, accuracy and efficiency across daily operations and support departments outside your normal duties.

You will pack and label shipments, verify orders, and operate basic warehouse equipment. The role requires standing for long periods, occasional lifting up to 50 lb, and flexibility to work overtime in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of warehousing experience.
• Experience with personal computer equipment.
• Experience operating material handling equipment (reach truck, cherry picker, forklift).
• Ability to use carrier shipping systems for processing, labeling and tracking.
• Ability to work in a positive, collaborative team environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.

Responsibilities

• Receive product, including new, used, service, and returned goods, observing safety precautions.
• Read customer orders to determine items to pick and ship.
• Move materials from receiving/storage to shipping or other areas.
• Assemble and pack customer orders and place on pallets or bins.
• Process orders using the carrier’s online service.
• Pack items with proper procedures and include packing slips.
• Attach labels compliant with HAZMAT shipping requirements.
• Verify items on order for accuracy.
• Maintain clean, orderly work area and follow safety regulations.
• Assist in other warehouse areas as needed.
