Job summary

Sarnova is seeking an Equipment Operator in Indiana to read customer orders, pick/pack merchandise, and use a forklift as needed to prepare shipments. You will also perform receiving and put-away functions while maintaining a safe, organized warehouse.

In this fast-paced environment, you will support loading, labeling, and documentation, ensuring accuracy and safety in all handling processes for life-saving medical equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift certification required or provided prior to operating equipment.
• 2–4 years warehousing experience with 1–2 years forklift experience preferred.
• Experience with PC equipment.
• Experience driving material handling equipment preferred.
• Ability to use carrier’s shipping system for processing, labeling and tracking packages.
• Ability to work in a positive team environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and operating instructions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, move, and stack products and materials within the warehouse while following all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Perform receiving of product including new, used, service, and returned goods, observing all safety precautions.
• Read customer orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be picked and shipped.
• Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
• Assemble and pack customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or in bins.
• Process orders using approved carrier’s online service.
• Pack all items using proper procedures to prevent damages and include packing slip.
• Attach required labels to packages, compliant with all HAZMAT shipping laws.
• Verify items on order for accuracy.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed.
