Job summary

Sarnova is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Jacksonville, FL to receive, store and ship products and to create, fulfill and process customer orders. You will maintain safety, accuracy and efficiency across daily operations and contribute to a positive, flexible team culture.

The role involves loading/unloading, order picking, packing and using carrier shipping systems, with tasks expanding to other warehouse areas as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two to four years warehousing experience preferred.
• Experience with personal computer equipment.
• Experience driving material handling equipment (Reach Truck, Cherry Picker, Forklift) preferred.
• Ability to use carrier’s computer shipping system for processing, labeling and tracking packages.
• Ability to work in and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and process incoming product per safety precautions.
• Read customer orders to determine items to pick and ship.
• Move materials from receiving/storage to shipping or other designated areas.
• Assemble and pack customer orders; place on pallets or in bins.
• Process orders using the carrier’s online service.
• Pack items with proper procedures to prevent damage; include packing slip.
• Attach labels to packages in compliance with Hazmat shipping laws.
• Verify items on order for accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow safety regulations.
• Assist in other warehouse areas as needed.
