Americold is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely receive, store, and ship food products using sit-down and stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, pallet jacks, RF equipment, and related tools.

Under general supervision, you will load/unload freight, palletize and store merchandise, and prepare orders for shipment while meeting production standards and safety requirements. OSHA-compliant operation and ability to work overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months of related work experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Load and unload freight using forklifts and other equipment to move products to storage.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment, check freight for accuracy and damage, and label, wrap, and pack as directed.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners in a safe, OSHA-compliant manner.
• Maintain production standards while keeping a clean, orderly work area.
• Perform inventory, cleaning, or forklift battery changes as needed.
