Job summary

Americold Logistics LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely receive, store, and ship food products using sit-down and stand-up forklifts, RF scanners, pallet jacks, and related equipment in a fast-paced warehouse.

You will load/unload freight, stack and store merchandise, pick orders, and help maintain accurate inventory, while complying with OSHA standards and keeping a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using proper equipment to move products to storage.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment, inspect for damage or infestation, and label and wrap as directed.
• Operate equipment in compliance with OSHA standards to promote safety.
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
• Perform inventory, cleaning, and forklift battery changes; may perform other duties as needed.
