Job summary

Americold is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely receive, store, and ship food products within our Ohio facility. You will operate sit-down, stand-up, high-reach forklifts, RF scanners, and pallet jacks to move goods, while maintaining accuracy and a clean work environment. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 months of related experience. Overtime, evening, and weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently load and unload freight using proper equipment to move products to storage.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders, check freight for accuracy, damage, and infestation.
• Operate equipment (sit down and stand-up forklifts, RF scanners) in a manner that promotes safety.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment and may perform other duties as needed.
