Job summary

Americold is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to safely manage the receipt, storage, and shipment of food products using sit-down, stand-up, high-reach, and other forklift equipment, plus RF scanners. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and flexibility for overtime or weekend shifts.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 months of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using forklifts to move products to storage.
• Stack and store merchandise; pick orders; check freight for accuracy and damage.
• Operate equipment safely per OSHA standards and maintain a clean, orderly environment.
• Perform inventory, cleaning, battery changes and other duties as needed.
