Job summary

Americold in Sebree, KY is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely receive, store, and ship food products using sit-down and stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, and RF scanners. The role requires adherence to safety standards and accurate handling of loads in a controlled environment.

You will load and unload freight, stock shelves, pick orders, and perform routine duties such as inventory and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight efficiently and safely using appropriate equipment.
• Stack and store merchandise; pick and assemble orders for shipment and check for accuracy, damage, or infestation.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners in compliance with OSHA standards to promote safety.
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
• Perform other duties such as inventory, cleaning, or forklift battery changes as needed.
