Americold is seeking a Forklift Operator to ensure safe receipt, storage, and shipment of food products. You will operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts, RF scanners, and related equipment to move goods through the facility while maintaining accuracy and safety.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to meet production standards, and flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed. The position involves heavy lifting and working in cold environments as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months of related work experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Load and unload freight safely with appropriate equipment.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment, check for accuracy and damage.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners safely in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean, orderly work area.
• Assist with inventory, cleaning, and battery changes as needed.
