Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC in Kentucky seeks a Forklift Operator to safely receive, store, and ship food products using sit-down/stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, and RF scanners.

You will load/unload, stack, pick orders, verify accuracy, and maintain a clean, safe workspace in accordance with OSHA standards.

Applicants should have a high school diploma (GED preferred) and at least 3 months of related experience; willingness to work flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely using proper equipment to move products to storage throughout facility.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders, check freight for accuracy and condition, label, wrap, pack, and repack as directed.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in a safety-conscious manner per OSHA standards.
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean, orderly work environment.
• Perform inventory, cleaning, or forklift battery changes as needed.
