Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain is seeking a Forklift Operator II to safely operate complex powered material handling equipment for receipt, storage, and order fulfillment. You will perform high-reach and turret operations, ensure product safety and quality, and contribute to accurate inventory control.

The position emphasizes efficiency, teamwork, and adherence to PPE and fall protection requirements while supporting loading/unloading, pallet build, and shipping duties in a day shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years' experience with daily power equipment operations; 6-months minimum.
• Must meet PPE and fall protection requirements.
• Ability to operate powered complex material handling equipment (High Reach, Order Picker, Drexel/Turret Swing Mast, Clamp and Double Fork Truck).
• Not afraid of working on equipment at extended heights.
• Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail and coordination.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service driven.
• Strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Full case order picking for replenishment, customer orders and packaging components.
• Pallet retrieval and put away in narrow aisle bulk rack storage system.
• Quality control to ensure accuracy of all transactions.
• Use of wire guidance systems for navigating narrow aisles where applicable.
• Loading and unloading of pallets and cases from trucks and conveyor lines, by hand or equipment.
• Sorting, building and wrapping products with pallets to ensure compliance with customer expectations.
• Maintain accuracy of storage locations by performing daily cycle counts and routine inventory maintenance tasks.
• Perform other distribution work functions as needed due to business volume and need.
• Adhering to strict OSHA safety rules.
• Other duties as assigned.
