Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain in Coppell, TX is seeking a Forklift Operator II to safely operate powered material handling equipment for receiving, storage and order fulfillment. You will handle pallets, perform cycle counts, and ensure accurate inventory while following OSHA safety guidelines.

The role requires 1+ years of power equipment experience, high attention to detail, strong communication, and a customer-service mindset within a team environment. Competitive pay and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years' experience with daily power equipment operations, preferred. 6-months minimum is required.
• Must meet all PPE and fall protection requirements.
• Ability to operate powered complex material handling equipment: High Reach, Order Picker, Drexel/Turret Swing Mast, Clamp and Double Fork Truck.
• Not afraid of working on equipment at extended heights.
• Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail and coordination.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service driven.
• Strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Full case order picking for replenishment, customer orders and packaging components.
• Pallet retrieval and put away in narrow aisle bulk rack storage system.
• Quality control to ensure accuracy of all transactions.
• Use of wire guidance systems for navigating narrow aisles where applicable.
• Loading and unloading of pallets and cases from trucks and conveyor lines, by hand or equipment.
• Sorting, building and wrapping products with pallets to ensure compliance with customer expectations.
• Maintain accuracy of storage locations by performing daily cycle counts and routine inventory maintenance tasks.
• Perform other distribution work functions as needed due to business volume and need.
• Adhering to strict OSHA safety rules.
• Other duties as assigned.
