Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain in Fontana, CA seeks a Forklift Operator II to safely operate complex powered equipment for receipt, storage and order fulfillment. You will handle pallet moves, pick orders, perform cycle counts, and uphold safety standards in a busy warehouse environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and 1+ years’ power equipment experience; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience with daily power equipment operations; 6 months minimum required.
• Must meet PPE and fall protection requirements.
• Able to operate High Reach, Order Picker, Drexel/Turret Swing Mast, Clamp and Double Fork Truck.
• Able to work at heights and maintain safety and accuracy in warehouse tasks.
• Strong communication, urgency, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Full case order picking for replenishment, customer orders and packaging components.
• Pallet retrieval and put away in narrow aisle bulk rack storage system.
• Quality control to ensure accuracy of all transactions.
• Use of wire guidance systems for navigating narrow aisles where applicable.
• Loading and unloading of pallets and cases from trucks and conveyor lines, by hand or equipment.
• Sorting, building and wrapping products with pallets to ensure compliance with customer expectations.
• Maintain storage location accuracy by daily cycle counts and inventory maintenance.
• Adhering to strict OSHA safety rules and other duties as assigned.
