Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain is seeking a Forklift Operator II to safely operate complex powered material handling equipment for receipt, storage and order fulfillment. This role emphasizes product safety, quality, and compliance with OSHA safety rules.

The position involves high-reach and turret trucks, loading/unloading, inventory counts, and ensuring accurate storage locations. Strong teamwork and attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years' experience with daily powered equipment operations; 6 months minimum required.
• Ability to operate High Reach, Order Picker, Drexel/Turret Swing Mast, Clamp and Double Fork Truck.
• Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and coordination.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Full case order picking for replenishment, customer orders and packaging components.
• Pallet retrieval and put away in narrow aisle bulk rack storage system.
• Quality control to ensure accuracy of all transactions.
• Navigate narrow aisles using wire guidance systems where applicable.
• Loading and unloading of pallets and cases from trucks and conveyors.
• Sort, build and wrap products to meet customer expectations.
