Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain is seeking a Forklift Operator II for a day shift in Groveport, Ohio. The role requires safe operation of complex powered material handling equipment (High Reach, Order Picker, Drexel/Turret Swing Mast, Clamp and Double Fork Truck) to receive, store and fulfill orders while protecting product integrity.

The position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork, with duties including pallet handling, cycle counts and OSHA compliance. Competitive pay and benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years' experience with powered equipment operations; minimum 6 months required.
• Must meet PPE and fall protection requirements.
• Operate High Reach, Order Picker, Drexel/Turret Swing Mast, Clamp and Double Fork Truck.
• Comfortable working at height while operating equipment.
• Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and coordination.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service driven and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Full case order picking for replenishment and customer orders.
• Pallet retrieval and put away in narrow aisle bulk rack storage.
• Quality control to ensure accuracy of all transactions.
• Use of wire guidance systems for navigating narrow aisles where applicable.
• Loading/unloading pallets and cases from trucks and conveyors.
• Sorting, building and wrapping products for shipping.
• Maintain location accuracy with daily cycle counts.
• Adhere to OSHA safety rules; perform other distribution tasks as needed.
