Job summary

Wieland is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator I for its Granite City, IL site. This on-site role involves operating sit-down forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse, following safety protocols, and collaborating with team members to load and move product efficiently.

The position requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work a Monday–Friday schedule with 7:00 am–3:30 pm shifts, paying $18–$20 per hour with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Experience operating sit-down forklift or similar material handling equipment.
• Ability to follow safety rules and PPE requirements.
• Demonstrated reliability and ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Safely maneuver material handling equipment according to safety regulations.
• Maintain equipment and report service needs as required.
• Position equipment properly before use and load/unload products.
• Accurately select and move products to trailers for shipping.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet department goals.
• Perform general housekeeping and assist in other departments as needed.
