Job summary

Wieland is hiring a Mobile Equipment Operator I in Granite City, IL for sit-down forklift and material handling in a fast-paced on-site distribution environment. The ideal candidate has forklift experience, shows initiative, and attention to detail to ensure safe, accurate operations.

The role runs Mon–Fri, 7:00 am–3:30 pm with weekly pay, onsite work, and a strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Proven forklift driving experience and ability to operate sit-down equipment safely.
• Commitment to health and safety regulations and PPE use.
• Good judgement, reliability, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Safely maneuver motorized equipment in accordance with safety regulations.
• Maintain and report service requests for equipment.
• Position equipment correctly before loading/unloading.
• Accurately select and move product to loading areas.
• Collaborate with team to meet department goals.
• Assist with general warehouse housekeeping and safety procedures.
