Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing in Cusseta, AL, is seeking a 1st shift Material Handler / Forklift Operator to support our plant operations. You will move, stack, and load materials, ensure accurate inventory, and assist in maintaining a safe working environment.

This role requires English proficiency, a High School diploma or GED, and the ability to stand 8-12 hours. Prior forklift experience (Hi-Lo) and basic computer skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to stand for 8-12 hours a day and perform essential duties.
• English reading, writing, speaking and comprehension required for safety and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move, load and unload materials.
• Inspect and stage pallets and materials for production lines.
• Maintain accurate inventory and assist with cycle counts.
• Support safety and housekeeping to ensure regulatory compliance.
