Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a reliable forklift operator for 1st shift at our Cusseta, AL plant. You will operate lifting equipment, move pallets, and ensure loads are delivered on time to proper locations.

You will follow strict safety and regulatory requirements, assist with inventory, and support continuous improvement efforts. Candidates should be able to work up to 12 hours daily, including weekends, and demonstrate strong teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to stand for 8-10 hours a day and perform essential tasks.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English well.
• High School diploma or GED.
• One month related experience or training; or equivalent education/experience.
• Previous material handling experience preferred.
• Previous forklift driving experience preferred.
• Strong performance standards and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and move loads to designated areas.
• Adhere to safety, environmental, regulatory, and company procedures.
• Assist with inventory checks and supply materials as needed.
• Support plant flow and respond with urgency to customer needs.
• Help in rotating through job responsibilities and maintaining accuracy.
