Job summary

XPO is hiring a Forklift Operator to support dock operations in Seaford, Delaware. You will safely sort, handle, load and unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts, scan shipments with handheld devices, and maintain secure trailers.

This role requires 18+ years old, basic math skills, and flexibility to work days, evenings, nights and weekends. Benefits include health and life insurance, PTO, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to perform basic math calculations.
• Available for shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
• Preferred: forklift experience in freight/LTL environment.
• Preferred: dock or warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Sort, handle, load and unload freight efficiently.
• Operate pallet jack and forklift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using proper tools.
• Adhere to safety policies and operate scanning devices.
• Work on a dock not climate-controlled for extended periods.
