Job summary

XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our dock team on the day shift. You will efficiently sort, handle, load, and unload freight, using forklift and pallet jack while adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Willing to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Operate on a dock not climate-controlled for extended periods.
• Scan and track shipments using mobile handheld devices.
