Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is hiring a Forklift Operator for our Delaware County dock. You will efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight and operate pallet jacks and forklifts while maintaining safety policies.

On the job, you’ll scan shipments, secure freight inside trailers, and adapt to shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends. Benefits include health insurance on day one, PTO, holidays and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to perform basic math calculations, with or without a calculator.
• Available to work days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work safely and in accordance with company policies.
• Use handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a non-climate-controlled dock for extended periods.
