Job summary

XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our daylight shifts on a docks team. You will efficiently sort, load, and unload freight, operate pallet jacks and forklifts, and ensure freight is secured inside trailers while following safety policies.

Daily tasks include scanning shipments with handheld devices, and working on non-climate-controlled docks for extended periods. Health benefits begin on day one, with PTO and a 401(k) match available.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to perform basic math calculations, with or without a calculator.
• Available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work in a safe, efficient manner, adhering to company safety policies.
• Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock that is not climate-controlled for extended periods.
