Job summary

XPO is hiring a Forklift Operator to join our dock team. You will efficiently sort, load and unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts, while adhering to safety policies.

This role involves working on a non-climate-controlled dock and requires flexibility for day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. We offer full health insurance on day one, life and disability insurance, PTO, holidays, a 401(k) with company match, and education assistance.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and able to perform basic math.
• Available to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.
• Preferred: dock/warehouse experience and forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work safely and adhere to company safety policies.
• Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock not climate-controlled for extended periods.
