XPO is hiring a Forklift Operator to join their dock operations. You will efficiently sort, load, and unload freight, using pallet jacks and forklifts, while protecting shipments and adhering to safety rules.

This role requires flexibility across days, evenings, nights, and weekends to meet freight demand. We offer comprehensive benefits, including health and life insurance, PTO, holidays, a 401(k) match, and education assistance, with a pay rate starting at $24.37 per hour.

Competenze

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Available to work a variety of shifts due to varying freight volumes, including days, evenings, nights and weekends.
• Preferred: Dock or warehouse experience in transportation, forklift experience in freight/LTL, loading/unloading trailers, strong attention to detail.

Mansioni

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work in a safe, efficient manner, adhering to company safety policies.
• Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock that is not climate-controlled for extended periods.
