Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our dock team in Delaware. You will efficiently sort, handle, load and unload freight, using forklift and pallet jack, while following safety policies and using handheld devices to track shipments.

Qualifications

• Able to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Be at least 18 years old and available for days, evenings, nights and weekends.
• Dock or warehouse experience preferred; forklift experience in freight/LTL environment.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use motorized and manual equipment including pallet jack and forklift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work safely and adhere to company safety policies.
• Use handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock not climate-controlled for extended periods.
