Job summary

Performance Foodservice, a PFG broadline distributor, is seeking a Forklift Operator, Formula at our Suffolk, VA facility to move freight safely and efficiently, stocking pallets, and supporting warehouse operations. You will operate forklift and pallet jack, perform daily safety checks, manage pick slots, and comply with GMP and quality standards.

This is a full-time, on-site role with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift; able to lift, stack, and/or pull products weighing 10-35 pounds and up to 60-90 pounds depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Locate proper slot on storage racks and position pallets with forklift or hand stack items.
• Transport incoming freight to inventory and replenish pick slots.
• Ensure safety, GMP, and quality standards are met in all tasks.
• Perform general housekeeping and end-of-shift paperwork.
