Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator in Suffolk, VA to move product through receiving, inventory, and pick areas. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, stock shelves, and ensure safety and GMP compliance.

This role requires 6+ months of warehouse experience, ability to lift up to 90 lbs, and willingness to work overtime. Competitive pay and benefits are offered, with day-one health benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months warehouse/distribution experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift 10–35 lbs and up to 60–90 lbs depending on location.
• Able to work in cooler, freezer and dry environments.
• Post-offer drug test and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Locate proper slot on storage racks and set pallets with forklift.
• Transport incoming freight to inventory from staging areas.
• Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock items.
• Rotate date-sensitive stock to the front and remove outdated inventory per policy.
• Follow safety policies and complete end-of-shift paperwork.
