Job summary

Performance Food Group, through Performance Foodservice, is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator to move stock, load/unload and maintain accuracy in a multi-temperature warehouse. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, locate storage slots, and ensure product data is accurately entered while following GMP and safety protocols.

The role requires standing, lifting 10–90 pounds as needed, overtime availability, and a commitment to clean, safe operations in a fast-paced distribution setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer and dry.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Locates proper slot on storage racks, set pallets in place with forklift or hand stack items, enter product data and location into appropriate unit.
• Locates and performs count check of incoming freight in the staging area and transport to freezer with forklift/pallet jack.
• Replenishes pick slots with outgoing stock items according to next day's work orders.
• Rotates date-sensitive stock to the front of the rack and/or remove outdated out of date inventory according to company policy.
• Disperses over-stocked items to available slots for temporary storage.
