Job summary

Publix Super Markets is seeking Lift Truck Maintenance Technicians to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic problems on powered industrial equipment, including forklifts. You will read blueprints, perform preventive maintenance and use CMMS to document repairs.

Applicants must be at least 18, able to lift 65 pounds, and willing to work nights and weekends. Experience with maintenance tools and certification for equipment operation is required.

Qualifications

• The candidate must be 18+ years old and able to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended periods.
• Must be able to lift at least 65 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Ability to read, write and solve mathematics problems and read blueprints/schematics.
• Must provide own hand tools and obtain certification to operate powered industrial equipment.
• Experience with CMMS and maintenance documentation is preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems is expected.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues on lift trucks and related equipment.
• Read blueprints, schematics and technical manuals to locate problems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document tasks in CMMS.
• Operate safely in a fast-paced environment and maintain tool sets.
