Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Maintenance Technician – Forklift Repair to ensure safe, reliable operation of powered industrial trucks in our Georgia facility. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair forklifts and related material-handling equipment to minimize downtime.

This role requires adherence to safety standards and accurate service records, with collaboration across operations to optimize performance. A trade school degree or equivalent is preferred, with at least 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Experience working on industrial electric forklifts preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Trade school degree or equivalent in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs electric lift equipment, conveyors, and related mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Performs preventive maintenance and modifications on equipment and buildings.
• Provides equipment status reports with details of unusual maintenance problems.
• Follows safety guidelines and OSHA standards; maintains clean, safe work areas.
• Collaborates with operations teams to identify equipment needs and optimize performance.
