Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Maintenance Technician – Forklift Repair to ensure safe, reliable operation of powered industrial trucks in our facility. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform preventive maintenance on forklifts and material-handling equipment, helping minimize downtime and support ongoing warehouse operations.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting conveyors, performing modifications as needed, and maintaining accurate service records.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Trade school degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Experience working on industrial electric forklifts preferred.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends/evenings/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electric lift equipment and conveyors.
• Perform preventative maintenance and necessary modifications.
• Provide equipment status reports on maintenance issues.
• Follow safety guidelines and OSHA standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
