Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Maintenance Technician – Forklift Repair to ensure safe, reliable operation of powered industrial trucks in our Florida facility. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, and repair electric forklifts and related material-handling equipment to minimize downtime.

You will follow safety standards, keep accurate service records, and collaborate with operations to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• 1 year of related work experience.
• Experience on industrial electric forklifts preferred.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs electric lift equipment and conveyors.
• Performs preventative maintenance and modifications.
• Provides equipment status reports detailing unusual maintenance issues.
• Follows safety guidelines and OSHA standards.
• Maintains a clean, safe work environment.
