Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old (or 19 for Alabama).
• Able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended periods.
• Able to lift a minimum of 65 pounds.
• Able to stand, stoop, crouch, kneel, lift, reach, push, and pull.
• Able to obtain certification and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Able to read, write, and solve math problems.
• Successfully complete tests in Computation, Following Written Directions, Space Visualization, and Mechanical Aptitude.
• Able to interpret, understand, and follow instructions.
• Able to generate and process work on a CMMS.
• Able to supply and maintain hand tools and work with little supervision.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems on lift trucks.
• Perform preventive maintenance and check hydraulic fluid, tires, forks, drive control, steering and brakes.
• Read blueprints, schematics and technical manuals.
• Use CMMS to generate and process maintenance repairs.
