Job summary

The Home Depot seeks a Maintenance Technician – Forklift Repair to ensure safe, reliable operation of powered industrial trucks in the facility. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, and repair forklifts and related equipment to minimize downtime and support warehouse operations.

Responsibilities include electrical and hydraulic/pneumatic troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and reporting on equipment status, while adhering to safety standards and maintaining a clean work environment.

Qualifications

Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Minimum years of work experience: 1 year.
Experience with industrial electric forklifts preferred.
Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoots and repairs electric lift equipment and conveyor systems, plus mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues.
Performs preventive maintenance and necessary modifications on lift equipment and plants.
Provides equipment status reports detailing maintenance problems.
Follows safety guidelines from manufacturers, Home Depot, and OSHA standards.
Maintains a clean and safe work area with daily housekeeping.
