Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines in Town of Bethlehem, NY seeks a dock associate to load/unload freight with a forklift or by hand and to strap and pad cargo to prevent damage. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• Must be 17+ years of age.
• Forklift experience or certification preferred.
• Able to lift 70 lbs. and push/pull loads of 70 lbs.
• Stable employment history preferred.
• Drug screen and background check required.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using forklift or by hand.
• Strap, brace and pad freight to prevent damage.
• Record freight conditions accurately at the service center.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections of dock equipment.
• Attend to all duties as assigned; comply with safety rules.
