Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• Must be 17+ years of age.
• Experience in transportation preferred.
• Stable employment history preferred.
• Prior forklift operation/certification preferred.
• Must be able to lift 70 lbs. and push/pull loaded pallets.
• Must meet attendance requirements and safety rules.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using a forklift, pallet jack, hand truck or by hand.
• Strap, brace and pad freight to prevent damage or shifting.
• Record the condition of freight as it arrives at the service center.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections of dock equipment.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Perform any other duties as assigned as needed.
