Goodwill Houston is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support donation processing, inventory, and outbound distribution. You will handle goods, operate equipment, and ensure safe, efficient movement of items through the warehouse.

The role requires adaptability to changing workloads, attention to detail in inventory, and willingness to work nights and weekends as needed. Training and safety protocols are provided to maintain a productive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Must be forklift certified or able to become certified.
• Proficiency in salvage tracking and reporting.
• Knowledge of loading techniques for salvage loads preferred.
• Strong operation monitoring for heavy machinery.
• Good computer skills (Microsoft Office, GPS, and other apps).
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends as needed.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Process products efficiently based on Goodwill Houston needs and adapt to changes in commodities processing.
• Break down orders, secure equipment, and label for transport.
• Maintain backroom organization with new goods, fixtures, and supplies and keep accurate inventory.
• Set up and follow distribution plans.
• Assist in movement of goods in the warehouse and load/unload trucks using material handling equipment as needed.
• Receive vendor shipments and confirm accuracy; report any discrepancies.
• Receive large corporate donations and break down, price, and distribute items.
• Operate material handling equipment safely per regulations and policies.
• Perform janitorial work as required.
• Follow safety and compliance standards and report repairs to Dock Manager.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
