Job summary

Goodwill Industries of South Texas Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate to move, store, process, and dispose of warehouse inventory and prepare salvage material for sale. The role emphasizes safety and adherence to Goodwill values.

You will sort goods, operate a baling machine, load and unload trucks, use pallet jacks or a forklift, and keep a clean, organized workspace while following department policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to sort and classify product lines according to procedures.
• Pass pre-employment criminal background check and drug/alcohol screen.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Sort goods to determine salvage or trash items.
• Operate baling machine, weigh and label salvage items.
• Load/unload trucks and move inventory using pallet jack or forklift.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area meeting agency standards.
• Adhere to safety, loss prevention procedures and agency policies.
