Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to lead daily field operations. This full-time, non-exempt role directs crew activities, coordinates work orders, and ensures safety standards are followed on site.

You will train staff, manage customer communications, and maintain records while controlling costs and ensuring timely completion of tasks. CDL is preferred; DOT compliance is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to read drawings and symbols.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills required.
• Must be able to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Driver license required; CDL preferred for bigger vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates and assigns daily crew work after orders from a General Foreperson.
• Trains crew on new or revised job units and enforces safety.
• Discusses access, power interruption, work scope with property owners/clients.
• Obtains permission to perform required work and maintains customer relations.
• Maintains records, timesheets and reports; tracks crew time and work completed.
• Monitors costs and efficiency; protects life and property by safe practices.
• May investigate minor incidents and settle simple claims when delegated.
• Ensures DOT maintenance and inspection requirements on vehicles are met.
• Keeps equipment and work areas clean; reports repairs as needed.
