Job summary

AdventHealth Daytona Beach is seeking a Registered Nurse with at least 1 year hospital experience to provide 24/7 forensic coverage as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE). You will perform examinations, document findings, and support victims in collaboration with medical staff and law enforcement.

Qualifications

RN license required and eligible to work in Florida.
1+ year hospital experience required.
Completion of Sexual Assault Examiner 40+ hour program with 40 hours of clinical training.
SANE-A or SANE preferred

Responsibilities

Takes call to provide 24/7 coverage, including weekends and holidays.
Conducts forensic examinations and evidence collection for sexual assault victims.
Maintains accurate documentation and follows legal protocols for evidence handling.
Collaborates with medical staff and law enforcement to support victims.
Provides compassionate care and emotional support to victims.
Participates in the prosecution phase of cases in a cooperative manner.
